For this silk scarf, our designers have reimagined the motif of the toile de Jouy. Dating back to the 18th century, this fabric traditionally depicts scenes of rural life from that time. However, it is in an urban and contemporary world that Maison Malfroy has made it its own. On this bandana, you will find moments from your own everyday life: from coffee with friends to a wild Saturday night.

Toile de Jouy: a reimagined theme
Do you know Toile de Jouy? This famous pattern, dating back to the 13th century, traditionally represents scenes of pastoral life from that era. We had fun reinterpreting it... While maintaining a monochrome line-drawing style, we chose the subject of contemporary urban life. A coffee with friends, an art exhibition, a wild Saturday night have replaced the settings and characters of the past. A silk product cherished by women.
