Our designers have reimagined the motif of the toile de Jouy. Dating back to the 18th century, this fabric typically depicts scenes of rural life from that time. However, it is in an urban and contemporary world that Maison Malfroy has made it its own. You will find moments from your own everyday life: from coffee with friends to wild Saturday nights...

Toile de Jouy: a reimagined theme
Do you know Toile de Jouy? This famous pattern, dating back to the 13th century, traditionally depicts scenes of pastoral life from that era. We had fun reinterpreting it... While maintaining a monochrome line-drawing style, we chose the subject of contemporary urban life. A coffee with friends, an art exhibition, a wild Saturday night have replaced the settings and characters of the past. An item cherished by women.

Silk: a fabric with many facets
Maison Malfroy selects superior quality silk for you. Light and soft, silk provides freshness in summer and warmth in winter. Its drape and shine enhance the colors of our patterns. Its hypoallergenic and antibacterial properties will protect your skin. Silk twill is the material used for traditional silk squares. It provides structure and enhances the colors and designs. Did you know? Silk uses your body heat to warm up and then releases that heat back onto your body.

The silk headband: a clever accessory
The Malfroy silk headband is a clever accessory that can be worn in a thousand ways. Its small size, like a silk ribbon, allows it to be worn as a bracelet, in the hair, as a belt, or on a bag. The choice is yours to get creative!
