The paths of Cécile Siméone and the silk house Malfroy were destined to cross. A strong attachment to the city of Lyon, a shared love for detail, and common knowledge were all it took to inspire the desire to co-create a scarf.
It was not the first time Cécile Siméone took the silk road. After completing her artistic studies, she made her professional debut in a silk design workshop, one of many that once existed in Lyon, on the slopes of Croix-Rousse. A charming coincidence that makes perfect sense in light of this new Malfroy creation—elegant and modern—imagined by her.
A scarf as an ode to freedom
For this new collaboration, CécileSiméone drew inspiration from the vast landscapes of the American West. Appaloosa resonates as a call to freedom, a return to essentials, a rediscovered passion. For this scarf, Cécile Siméone returns to her original talent—hand drawing.
The beetle adorning this scarf was drawn in pastel and conceived as a talisman carrying good luck.
