This wool and silk scarf explores the lucky symbols deeply rooted in Breton culture.

At the heart of this creation, the triskell, the ancestral emblem of Brittany, evokes the cycle of time, past, present and future, as well as the harmony between the natural elements.

Associated with Celtic deities, the triskell dialogues here with the figure of Brigit, a tripartite goddess of Celtic mythology, at once poet, healer and blacksmith.

She appears at the center of the scarf, like a sacred thread between tradition and imagination.

The motifs surrounding it are freely inspired by the traditional embroidery of the costumes of the Pays Bigouden, in Finistère.

These silk thread embroideries, all curves and finesse, are reinvented in a contemporary graphic composition, a vibrant homage to the Breton textile heritage.

The Lucky Charms theme: The lucky charm in civilizations

Since antiquity, symbols and lucky charms have occupied a central place in civilizations across the world.

These talismans, often laden with deep meanings, represented the beliefs, values, and aspirations of peoples.

In ancient Egypt, for example, the Eye of Horus was a powerful symbol of protection and healing, while the scarab beetle represented rebirth and transformation.

Their use reflects a deep understanding of the universe, a desire for harmony with natural and spiritual forces, and a search for meaning in the mysteries of life.

We have chosen to explore these symbols within four civilizations: Britain, India, Egypt, and Japan.
